It started more or less since Call of Duty Black Ops 3 the decline in quality and experience of COD games. But, Vnguard, is the epitome of a scam and laziness. Activision didn't bother to design anything new, just copy and pasted COD 2. On top of that, they managed to make it worse than the old COD2. Everything about Vanguard spells Lazy, Dull and Overpriced. Game modes are boring and few. Zombies mode (or lack thereof) is the biggest let down. There isn't a normal mission map or an easter egg. Just a training ground that goes on forever, i guess just so one can level up. The recoil on most weapons is ridiculous. It just destroys the will to want to play this game. You can throw a grenade (in hard-core mode) and you can get a 4-5 kills in one explosion. The range is stupid! Whereas, it still needs 3-5 bullets to down someone in hard-core. There is almost no difference from normal mode. Overall, the worst COD to date. The biggest let down. It feels like i have been scammed. No wonder many players (like myself, a loyal COD fan) are choosing to go back to playing Battlefield. The COD developers do not care! I for one, cannot wait for the new Battlefield game to come out. Just so that i can wash the bad taste away, that is attributed to COD Vanguard (and Cold War too). Finally, if you are considering to buy (waste the money) Vanguard, be prepared to be fully disappointed.

Such a let down! Good thing i didn't spend a penny to buy this game, a code was offered to me instead. Where should i start? The bugs and glitches never get sorted with COD, no matter the new technology. The idea of bots in live games is positive, but, the problem lies with the bots. COD made the bots almost in God Mode , really hard to kill. It takes almost 2 clips of any powerful weapon to down a bot, whereas, it takes 3-5 bullets for them to down you. It takes 3-5 seconds to heal. Which makes it impossible to hide or run from AI bots. These bots can appear from a wall or glitched in spaces. Doesn't matter if there are doors, these don't count against bots. DMZ is not meant for single players! You will down within 3 mins of starting the game. The worst part is that COD introduced Bots on multiplayer options such as Invasion. The idea behind it may be good, but the execution of it is lazy and stupid. For some years now COD has become just a brand name, to sell only. The quality and innovation has fallen gradually with the years instead of the opposite. At least, with Battlefield, you know what you get. They have stayed true to the original design. The weapons in COD are weak at best. None of the snipers or shotguns are a one shot kill, which defeats the purpose. Warzone is just another lazy attempt to milk the loyal fanbase. I still play BLack ops 2 and WW2. I find these games better designed and levelled overall.

Warzone (especially) is nothing short of a scam! Nothing works properly to this day, even though the game has been out for some time. I have played Battlefield as well, and i can see why people prefer that game over Call of Duty. The hackers/cheaters are not the worst thing in this game, the worst is the bugs (that seem to never be fixed), the action and interaction buttons do not work well in the game with items etc. I have bought all of the Call of Duty franchise (and i am not even a gamer). Never again will i buy anything related to this game. I am utterly dissapointed. They got worst with the technology instead of improving. It is a legal scam, you pay for something that you can't return and doesn't work as it should or as it has been sold for. Save your money, buy anything but Call of Duty Warzone or Cold War.
