"Masters of the universe" being apart, and different from filmation's universe is excellent. It is not a sequel, it is more of a well thought exploration of it's characters and alternate stories, albeit there are some strong misconceptions, specifically driving from the fact it is not a straight sequel as it was marketed... and as so it is not He-Man centered. Big bummer for nostalgia fundamentalists.
