Very young children might enjoy this movie, but older kids are so sophisticated nowadays they would probably, like myself, be bored.

An excellent movie. Not recommended for young children because of the battle scenes. One can easily relate to the characters. A wonderful movie which portrays the life of a young girl overcoming great odds, developing character, and leading her people.

I love the way they made the movie so that it was like a 1950's B movie. If it had been in black and white one could be fooled into thinking it was an old movie. They did an excellent job of creating that old atmosphere.
