We tried to get seats at three different theaters for multiple showings at each and finally scored. Good movie, felt like cheering at the end.
But.....as a major nitpicker, why did they ride on an English train to go from Washington to New York? Why would a girl who was training to be a teacher take an engineering course? Was it realistic to show several women in a 1935ish engineering class? Were there any students under the age of 25?
Whatever.......it was a good night's entertainment.

I tapped out. It was similar to a modern High Noon filled with too many details about how to win bar fights. The original part was that the heroine had a prosthetic leg,

Initially, I thought it must be a different Stephen Hunter as this was so unlike his prior Bob Swaggart series. But as it flowed, I could see he was having fun with a different style of writing and 'twas entertaining and light-hearted. Perhaps he was poking fun at the genre. Anyway, I liked it.
