Its that kinda film which gives you more of an eye opener than the entertainment. It shows a distinct picture of India in 1970s (the times of Bandit Queen), it's beliefs and superstitions, poor stature and abuse against women, along with a lot of gun-fight sequences between Police and the Bandits (Daaku) of Chambal.
They actually needed a talented StarCast like Manoj Bajpayee, Ashutosh Rana, to carry out serious roles. Bhoomi, Sushant and Ranvir Shorey were never the less credit worthy. Movie revolves around the struggle of Bandits, their relations with the local people and the Police. Both first and the second half is equally classy.
Overall, with one of a class Screenplay, great cinematography and a distinct story... It could be watched!
