I am impressed with the insight of the director into the ministry of Jesus. The cast was hand picked very carefully to fulfill their role as those surrounding Jesus. As a viewer, I was able to feel the human side to those whom were called to be "Fishers of Men".
There was introduced a human side of the Savior that is not usually portrayed. The humor was of good taste and portrayed only begotten of the Father as one who knew his purpose yet was part of a series of tender mercies to those whom he traveled with. You could feel their excitement as you asked the disciples to follow him and the agony of Nicodemus when he couldn't leave his wife and family to follow Jesus. I give the first episodes a five star rating and look forward to the second season.
Dallas Jenkins' vision became a reality. Those who have worked with him have been successful in the portrayal of the excitement of the ministry and the amazing miracles performed by Jesus among the people surrounding the city of Jerusalem. Look forward to you future episodes. You are making a difference throughout the world!!
