BOURGEOIS BOHEMIAN

This movie represents everything great about independent filmmaking (sort of independent). RR is brilliant in his editing and over the top direction. This movie moves at a real necklace that is sooo satisfying it's ridiculous.

Top to bottom this is a milestone film. Walter Hills ultra violent rage movie is right there with A Clockwork Orange. Fantastic music. Joe Walsh's lead in song is outstanding.

I just rewatched this the other night and it's still an excellent movie. Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen are really good as the Eckhart brothers.

I have no idea why the writers would write a story about everyone exvept Jonny Rico. The characters in this movie are beyond baffling. They're all played by the worst casting in any movie I've ever seen. This movie had triple the budget of the second film and manages to look terrible. Hats off to Phil Tippett. This movie is a guilty pleasure solely based on being a Starship Troopers fan. Other than that...it's exactly what NOT to do when making a movie...on any budget.

A very well done movie. Great depth of character and some solid direction from Guy Ritchie.

This movie is packed with talent. A brilliant hommage to 70's and 80's culture and growing pains of our own enlightenment.

Unfortunately Phil Tippett had no budget. He's an accomplished stop motion director but his choice of cinematographer seriously let him and this movie down. This isn't a terrible movie..once you get past it looking like an 80's porno. The bugs still look great.

This is an instant classic sci-fi movie. The effects more than hold up after 25 years. The cast is fresh and the direction has a ton of excitement. One of my faves.

You have to respect the fact that this movie is completely bonkers. It's fun.
