Though the book suggests about healing back pain, the concept is very well applicable for various other physical issues which do not have any concrete medical reasoning for their occurrence. This man went beyond the prejudices about backpain which were and are followed by the majority of the medical practitioners and patients. Dr Sarno has changed my life and for good. This book and many others which are based on Dr Sarno ideas are a true treasure for those who suffer from not just back pain but any physical problem which does not have a valid medical diagnosis. At first, the book might seem too good to be true, however, the concept does work perfectly. To elaborate, I would like to weirdly quote from the classic friends series where Rachel Green says, "It's like all of my life everyone has always told me, 'You're a shoe, you're a shoe, you're a shoe, you're a shoe. ' And then today I just stopped and I said, 'What if I don't want to be a shoe? similarly, the whole life we were told that many of our bodily issues are the result of our mental health however those can only be cured by physical interventions, but suddenly by the virtue of this book its a eureka moment that those can be healed by our mind and only by our mind as they are caused by our mind.
