I am biased since I played a lot of left 4 dead 1 and 2 as a kid but coming into this game it already felt a bit off. Firstly the enemies they're fairly simple nothing to really watch out for as the game makes it obvious their weak points. Secondly the levels are very VERY short as there are only 4 acts and I completed the full Act 1 within 40 minutes but the thing that ticked me off the most was just the lazy/sloppy production, For example and to put it simple, The game introduced that stereotypical "cool" soldier character as he faced off against a special "ridden" in his own set up camp. This character pulls out a 1911 pistol or something similar and just started firing. It's a small peeve but it would've been way cooler with a revolver if you're gonna do that "cool" marine character and on top of that this small little pistol had unlimited ammo as he never reloaded lmao.
The movement is very off-putting and doesn't go well with the gun play either. I have graphics on max as well but in game content the "ridden" just look like the same models with different clothes and don't look very detailed.
