this has not aged well, from the phoney clattering on computer keyboards by the white coated folk, the chattering Media, the 'just in the nick of time' mental connections and realisation of the next vital clue..... there are too many cliches to keep it suspensful. I don't find Tom Hanks suited to the role, he's so cheesey and suburban and hardly testing his deodorant by days end. Movie music has moved on too, the overuse of faux Carmina Burana noise to keep our blood pressure up is tiring. These days we have equally overused music in the form of synthesised crashes and bangs. I was a musician in a former life and believe me less is more with film scores.
if you want to fill in time with a bit of suspense and see a bit of Rome, enjoy.
