There are movies that you get excited about, there is a lot of hype around it. And then there is One Day, it's a beautifully written story that is perfect for a lazy Friday night or a Saturday afternoon. There is nothing not to like about the movie, it delivers it all the way through. Highly recommended.

By far the best Shinkai film. After years of triumph, he has finally added a beautiful story to his legendary animation style. It's simply a work of art.

It's awesome, if you have never watched Your Lie in April. This movie is a shorter, less emotional and a poorly animated version of Your Lie in April, with similar kinds of moral, conflicts and storytelling. The only word that I could think of that could describe this movie is mediocre. That said, if you like romantic anime and want some dose of emotional drama, it could be enjoyable.
