Lock Snake

Though still at least one year away from official release of BG3, according to its developer, Larian Games, the Early Access release from the first week of October 2020 is an indicator of an upcoming tour-de-force in the modern RPG landscape, alongside its co-headliner, the *other*new-school RPG innovator, CyberPunk 2077. Even at such an early, relatively unpolished, state, BG3 charms, wows, and -most crucially- bombards players with nuanced, captivating gameplay. Though Larian Games owns a well-deserved reputation for excellence in their stable of prior products, BG3 is quickly earning even greater respect for the company.
