Its been such a long time since i saw it, but was so moved by the images and the performances of the actors. Also the reality of the exodus. Right now i just picked up the book, ‘Last Boat out of Shanghai’ by Hellen Zia, and am just starting to chew over each sentence. I went to the Philippines last year to marry a woman with four children, so any and everything Southeast Asia I’m hungry for. And the plane laid over at Soul, South Korea. What an amazing emergence of economy and social change is going on in those countries. Although poor Philippines os deeply in poverty. Yes, I want to see the ‘Empire’ movie again.
