(I'm Steve's wife, using Steve's google account): My husband and I enjoyed the series. It offers a sweet perspective of how Jesus interacted with people. The backstories were plausible. I understand how backstories needed to be fabricated because the Gospels don't give much details. What I don't understand is why Jesus' words had to be changed. Example: Jesus never said to not seek justice. Modern phrases thrown in were charming and cute (i.e. "Not too shabby") and I'm guessing that was the point. As long as someone realizes it's not the Gospel you're watching, but an imaginative story, I think it's good.
