Its an amazing show, not like any other serials. Captivating innocent love story and no intimacy romance are the best. Appropriate dialogues and voice overs in proper timings and apt songs from 90s made it nostalgic. 90s portrayed in the right way even impressed a critic. Everything was perfect from the story to the portrayal and obviously I am all hearts for it.
First of its kind on ITV showcasing school life and college life along with the career goals of the lead rather than pushing the loved story into saas bahu story. Of course, it was romantic but romance of the 90s kind, no hand holds neither hugs just the eyes spoke volumes. From the accuracy to the adaptation of 90s era was the big supoort for the show. However, the leads were the true reason for the fan follow. Set in a period to which many belong, the show has gathered fan following from various decades, myself from 2000s, it as a show that kept me glued to it. Even after the show going off-air, I follow it and see the repeat episodes to relive the story of Sameer and Naina that was pure, innocent and unadulterated.
the show taught the current generation not just love but even respect and friendship, Swapreena and Samundit were reel characters but they created many more real life gangs through the journey. The show tackled taboos of Periods and Waxing in a delicate manners. It also threw light on supporting men who stood beside independent women. it was truly a gem of ITV.
