I literally cried so much nearing the end of the book, it's written so beautifully and just so effortlessly dramatic, yet not so much that it's overwhelming or annoying. The perspective that this book gives of that period of time is so so creative, and I've never read anything like it before. The storyline is so beautifully written, and I love how it's all tied together in the end. Truly amazing.
