I loved this film. Pitt and Robbie deserved nominations. The movie itself was a shock to me after watching LaLa Land and the 3 hr runtime was intimidating. In the end the film delivered and the pacing was amazing. Somehow they kept the energy going and the ending made me cry.

Racoon City 90210. Nonsensical story with wooden woke and unlikeable characters. Doesnt even bother to try to keep the generation raised in these games engaged. Resident Evil was about zombies and umbrella not teenage drama and melodrama. If you want a better resident evil experience, watch the more recent movie. Its pure drive in movie quality but it knows who it is and does a much better job engaging with its audience. Netflix just phoned it in again.

Just wanted to see a good horror movie but i was dropped into a hotbed of political divisiveness. This to me this is another sad reminder that society will never progress and racial acceptance will never be achieved. If you want to watch a good horror movie stay home and sign up to shudder. I am very disappointed in jordan peele and would ask him to stay away from social and racist issues and would remind him that racism isnt exclusive to black people.
