I think there was way too much character development, too many social checkboxes that got in the way and the Boston Scientific Atlas dogs looked like an advertisement for the USDOD. That said with the pandemic fully under way it made me think I need freeze dried food.
In comparison, Tom Cruise's adaptation made you feel horrified and quite ill, and in a way isn't that what we want of this story?
If Canal gets budget for season two I'll watch it, but I don't think I'd recommend it whole heartedly.
