If you read the books don’t watch the show. It’s a mockery of the books and I can imagine Robert Jordan spinning in his grave. It makes no sense to me that a company would spend what had to be a small fortune to get the rights to something and then proceed to hand it over to a reality tv actor that went on to write fewer than 20 episodes of mediocre tv shows. The production budget was 80 million dollars for 8 episodes. 10 million each is 4 million more per episode than game of thrones. Can anyone seriously compare the two?
