I’d give it 0 stars if I could. The movie was either too over-exaggerate or too slow. And for the ‘historical parts’? I just found that type of narrative ridiculous. I get the whole treasure hunting aspect as well as heart warming save the family home ordeal but I felt like this movie was really rushed or really slowed. I didn’t even make it an hour into the movie and I felt like it had gone on for longer. Personally, I found some bits really offensive to the Hawaiian culture. Sad part is, I was really excited for there to be a movie actually based around the culture and islands on Netflix but was greatly disappointed.
