I enjoyed the previous murder club books and was so looking forward to the last devil to die. Sadly I didn't enjoy this as much...not enough to get you hooked.

Well...finally finished Shuggie and his family's story. Having worked in homelessness addiction and mental health it wasn't so shocking but still made my heart ache. Sadly this is not fiction to many young people and children so please don't judge those you deem as anti social or addicts...you haven't walked in their shoes.

Maybe I'm being a bit mean only giving one star but my rule is if I start a book I must finish it...but as they say rules are made to be broken. I just can't go on attempting to continue reading this. I love a good crime / thriller....I just don't care enough about the characters. I may return to it one day but not for me at this time.
