It goes "over the top" now and then, but this is one hell of a fun racing movie to watch. Christian Bale completely owns the character he's playing.

I am grateful for this movie. It gave me a reason to get up from my recliner and go wash the sink full of dirty dishes, and then go to bed. If this movie cost $100 to make, that was too much. I could have done it for $47.98. Give or take a dollar. The positive: My dishes are done. Thanks.
