The story, animation, and dancing were all in line with the original. Unfortunately, what made Mary Poppins a timeless classic that endured all these years were the songs like Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, a spoon full of sugar, and let's go fly a kite. There is nothing memorable about this sequel. It seems like they were playing to the grandparents of the children instead of the children of today. Nothing in the sequel makes you want to sing along and I feel this will be forgotten quite easily while the original will never be forgotten.
