Metroโฆ In Dino wants to be a follow-up to Life in aโฆ Metro, but it never leaves the station. Thereโs nothing โmetroโ about itโexcept maybe how lost everyone is.
Ali Fazal plays a clueless singer who remembers his pregnant wife mid-song and runs out on his big break. Because love > lyrics, apparently.
Sara Ali Khan floats through scenes with a confused expression and humidity-defeated hair. Aditya Roy Kapur broods, then randomly announces heโs engagedโto someone the film never bothers to introduce. Minimalist romance at its peak.
Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher role-play their college days, while he casually kicks out his kind daughter-in-law. Konkona Sen Sharma nearly cheats back on her cheating husbandโlike revenge, but undecided.
Pritamโs music slapsโso hard it sometimes drowns the dialogue. Emotional, yes. Subtle? Not even close.
Shooting in metros doesnโt mean youโve captured metro life. This film gives us commitment issues and dramatic exits, not the real chaos of city living.
Verdict:
Acting: Strong
Writing: All over
Morality: Wobbly
Music: Banging, but chill
Metro? Still stuck on platform.
