The movie feel soulless. It rushes through the plot and takes out any relatability that people had to Mulan in the animation. In the live action movie Mulan has the power of chi which defeats the purpose of her character because whenever she feels weak she just uses her chi . In the animation however we get to see the struggles and hardships that Mulan has to face.
