I thought it was a wonderful movie. It gave you a raw insight as to how life really was during that time period. Just being able to survive was a feat in itself. Cuddy was an inspiring character. Strong willed and determined. Briggs turns out to be a pretty good character. He seems to be put in Cuddy's shoes in the end. He feels her sadness and maybe understanding why she was the woman she had become.
Thanks, for an unusual but good movie.
