This movie is quite entertaining. Idris Elba is always a good option. However, I was confused when they started talking about a cop "with an American accent" and then, "a guy from Vegas"... It would make more sense if Elba played an Interpol agent and Madden a Scottish pickpocket. Anyway, it is an enjoyable film.

"The first grader" depicts a man determined to pursue education at 84 years old, demonstrating that it's never too late to take a challenge and that perseverance pays off. It is an inspiring film that should be played in Secondary Schools to explore the value of Education and its importance to build a strong society. The movie unfolds Kenia's history through Kimani Maruge's experiences during the fight for Independence. Truly amazing.
