42 years of my life has been devoted to Star Wars. I love every single movie, every book and every comic I can find. With the recent release of the Episode IX trailer, I feel a bit like its been ripped out by the roots. I am an old timer Star Wars fan. Hate to see my generation being closed out. The first movie is so iconic in so many ways I cannot put it into words. Everything Star Wars hinges from that movie. It is truly the best of the best. How many other franchises go 42 years? Barring Mickey Mouse and Superman of course.
