Lag I’ve actually enjoyed playing nhl the last couple of titles. But, it might be because I’m playing on ps4, this is literally the laggiest game I’ve ever played. Games like Call of Duty MW, Battlefield 1,4,V, etc. are less laggy than this. I pretty much only play single player modes like franchise or bap, so I expected those to be fine. But it’s an absolutely brutal experience trying to play either. I’ve had the game since it came out and haven’t even played it for more than 4 hours because of the lag. It’s honestly even laggier when I’m in the menu of the game, it’s super hard to play franchise because of this issue. Competition There’s literally 0 other hockey games like EA’s nhl games at the moment. Every game feels like the same experience, except this year is worse. The new additions are awesome and all but, is that the best you can do? You basically add one or two new things each game, even bap is literally THE SAME EXACT THING as last year. I thought this game was supposed to be the most immersive and realistic looking nhl game to date, but I can’t even skate 10 feet without it being super choppy. There’s absolutely no strive to be innovative or create an entirely new experience because there is no competition. If 2k started to make nhl games again, I would buy it in a heartbeat. Wonder why 2k is so popular and fun to play? It’s because 2k knows how to make fun and interactive games. I hope to god you guys finally make a great and fun game next year, too bad you couldn’t make this game memorable. I expected so much more out of the Frostbite engine.
