I love this remake. The acting was convincing and the storyline was real. My father was an alcoholic and husband was. Alcoholics and drug addicts are self medicating for deep problems. They are also creating a slow suicide. Addiction doesn’t make sense to those who aren’t addicted. The most painful part for a loved one is seeing that love is not stronger than the addiction. This movie portrayed that realistically and painfully. I see award nominations for this movie.
