We do not get to see movies like this today. This is great cinema. A great story masterfully told. It's like The Perfume. Indeed you should watch The Perfume and The Red Violin together. They belong together.

Best special efforts out of any movie in the 90s hands down! Even better than Jurassic Park. Can't believe they had those effects in 1998 and the movie should get a lot of praise for that. It deserved an Oscar for those effects. As for the story, it's silly but humorous. Better than most of the movies come out nowadays. Hate the woke garbage Hollywood is making today. The jokes hit home. Only I wish they casted Robert Downey Jr. to play Will Smith's buddy directive. That role suites him more.

One of the most overrated tv shows you'd find this year. Besides the heavy budget and noisy action , it's quite hollow and empty.
