20 minutes into the show you will meet a young Black man who is about to be thrown off him families ocean front land by a wealth corrupt White man and his company. The young Black man is a good man who owns a monkey and just wants to fish and protect his families land. I did not need to watch any more to see how this was going to turn out. It is sad that this Woke story-line keeps being repeated over again for the past 3 years. If you are in to these fake DEI story line, then you enjoy the story.

I am 65 and have seen just about everything Star Wars in my life. The Acolyte has an interesting story to tell but the acting is weak. It seems like all the right boxes were checked but this resulted in some very bad acting performances. The set designs and special effects were great but it still felt like I was watching an episode of Wendy Wu at times. The Mandalorian and Boba Fett are great but this was a swing and miss for me.

Some part are great but when the PC and Woke parts come which do not belong in any art form, I fast forward through them. By now, I can spot these part and the bad actors that play them. So I normally watch 2 episodes back to back so with the FF past the Woke part, I get one good 50 minutes of TV. So yes watch but as always these past few years be ready to FF past a lot of screens. IT is sad but just the state of TV today. I was born and raised in Boston to a family of liberal Kennedy voters, but bad PC TV is just bad TV. Woke of politics does not mix with art so hoping it is just a fade for can not watch 95% of TV shows anymore.

After 3 episodes 18-49 Demo is a meek 0.09% so the show will not last. I loved Justified and just re-watched it before episode one of City Primeval. I was hoping that Boyd Crowder would escape from prison and the chase would be on. Nope, The show-runner and writers had another plan which was to bring us the same trash TV that has been out for the past 3 years. I fast-forwarded through some of the pilot and gave up 1/2 through episode 2. Boring with a bad story-line and poor acting.
