Total turd. 15 minutes in when all the actors appeared to be shoe wearing teens was concerning. Where Ridley Scott's Alien was a scifi horror film and Camerons was a scifi monster action film, this director tried to pay homeage to those films on too many levels, and it fails stupendously as a unimaginative rip off. The Xenomorphs werent even scary. Sometimes less is more. Maybe if our teens had a magic wand, some super powers, light sabers or a dinosaur, it may have been marginally better, for its apparent intended young audience. Good sets and space effects though. Worst film of the franchise.

So binge worthy! Stellar cast, performances and production value. What starts as a bomb of sexual misconduct in the work place, they have been able to weave in characters and work family that we actualky care about and the effects of corporate blindness to alot work place issues. Sexism, racism, profiling, equity, cancel culture, womens rights and the effects it has on those working closely in a high stress work environment, with pending corporate cuts, buy outs and take overs. Billy Cruddup steals most scenes he is in. TV at its best!!!!

The expected production values for the fans of GOT. A solid start to hopefully HBO's next big hit. I have only seen one episode but seems much more serious and dark from the way GOT started. Hard to have another quotable, fan cheering character as interesting as Tyrion Lannister, but it makes me fascinated to see what is coming up this season. Even the best directed, epic CGI scenes will never replace character development which was key to the success of GOT. Hope the producers and writers of HotD get this.
