A great show indeed! But let's get one important point straight. Alex from the series is not Stephan Land in real life. In fact it has nothing to do with her. Alex is hard working and considerate, a character that is easily liked. Stephan Land is not. The character that totally portrays Stephan Land for the book in this series is PAULA. Paula form the series and Stephan Land from the book are the same person. They are both extremelly selfish, complain all the time, claim to love their daughters but refuse to step up for them, move from one bad relationship to another dragging their daughters with them and both of them lack a vision concerning their future.
