I would urge everyone to watch this excellent film ignoring all the state-sponsored propaganda against it. Apart from the very few genuine reviewers most people reviewing Lal Singh Chadda online at this point, are political trolls or agents of the techtocracy; a regime that has an agenda against Bollywood and wants to control it. Unless of course you have been severely brainwashed by Hindutva politics I would strongly recommend this wonderful adaptation of Forrest Gump.

Nobody watches or knows about priceless films like this. Only 500 or so imdb reviewers proves it. I mean I obviously know and understand about the whole issue of the BM, but this documentary also mixes in a moral perspective.(setting politics aside) Must watch! One interesting thing was how some of the poorest and illiterate people make such undebatable and intelligent statements against fundamentalism, while I see educated people even in 2021, who can't process such basic logic. (Or maybe they are paid too well not to think, who knows)

Didn't like it very much coz I was expecting a lot. I've watched 3 episodes as of yet. Dialogue - 4/10 Acting - 5/10 Music - 6/10 Writing - 7.5/10 Probably the best actor(Buchan) got killed in the first episode itself. I can't say if it was the dialogue or the acting of some of the actors but it was terrible. Most dialogues seemed cliche, irrelevant or just like dead at times. Music could have been good but it just felt like one thing playing hard on the ears at times for no big reason. I feel some good actors were proper wasted. Many scenes dragged on without any chemistry between actors. I would have explained myself better with examples but I don't want to spend the time or give away spoilers rn. Definitely bad direction would sum this up. Before a second series consider improving. 2 stars not one because the plot was good enough.

Firstly excellently written! The writing stands above everything else. This is a seriously intense and emotional story, or rather stories of the lives of various people; especially relatable to this age, this year, this exact time. The old actors were at the top of their game as always and my favourite for this one was Victoria. I wish they keep working more and more. The young ones too did a good job. Notably Erin Kellyman, Melissa from Cornonation Street and of course the great Adrian Lester. It is a proper Brit drama but very fresh and interesting. For me personally a good story is one which has both unpredictable and predictable parts. More of the former I suppose and this one did actually challenge me to stop and think and try to guess events like a puzzle. So again credit to the writer. Was there anything I didn't like? Well...... maybe the music ....and the title sequence.
