Just finished watching with my wife and daughter, and I totally agree the scary moments you knew were coming, yet did a fantastic scare tactic. The beginning left you wondering about the character who came home from Japan, and in the end the writers missed so much potential it left you realizing they could have done so much more. Overall, better then average horror movie, and would be a good at home rental.
