Paul Smillie

Reeves & Mortimer are my comedy Gods. Paul Whitehouse I like but his Fast Show patter got a bit tiresome quickly. HOWEVER, Mortimer & Whitehouse together in this show (2 series so far, eagerly awaiting the 3rd) are comedy/nature/life-affirming gold. I have never been fishing in my 48 years on this planet BUT the chemistry between these two, coupled with the jaw-dropping locations and scenery make this show forever watchable (I must confess to watching the first 2 series numerous times and it still delights me every watch). Can I also, if allowed, recommend the audio book that accompanies this show (a quick search will find it easily)? It is SOOOO funny. It covers their friendship, health, history of fishing, tutorials, ect. If you can, get the A*d*bl* version, because it has an extra chapter where they go fishing and it is hilarious. Bob's quiz about prices of various items cracks me up every time.
