The vignette storytelling style, along with Snyder's refusal to leave even the most brutally bad scenes on the cutting room floor (sometimes, Less really is More) detracted from this movie.
Not horrible, but not as good as the worst Marvel movie, and orders of magnitude less enjoyable than the Warner Brothers cartoon series of movies covering the same plotline.
Only hardcore DC Fanboys are giving this movie 5 stars. Save yourself 4+ hours and skip this one.
