This is about the most unrealistic war movie I’ve ever watched! The CGI (computer generated images) scenes were blatantly obvious with their poor size relationships and physics-defying actions. Roles were overplayed by Hollywood’s absurd - but typical - ideas of stoic Japanese admirals and American heroic fighter pilots (the latter holding conversations with their rear-seat gunners in normal voices at 250mph in open cockpits). And an officer’s club full of enlisted sailors - not in this man’s Navy! It goes on and on, one gasoline-fueled fireball scene after the other...
They could have at least sub-titled the Japanese conversations, absent in the Apple Video version that I suffered through.
