an incredibly disappointing would-be horror about some strange happenings with parents horrifically (poorly so) murdering their children. I was excited to watch my first Cage film in a long time but really i couldn't even finish it. it's disappointing. Probably the same reason i'm reluctant to watch this new safari-type release. i can't risk hating Nic, he's an amazing artist. i just dont know whats up with this

this is the best movie i've seen this year. Phoenix's portrayal of Joker is just amazing. At first it seems rather odd that his backstory is based on a mental condition; i really did think that he was gonna fall into some huge tub of industrial chemicals somewhere but i swear they made that age-old joker origin look like the worst origin ever. even the laugh. This origin made me think i was a kid watching the whole gotham scene for the first time. I was stunned. i was shook. I believe this is an award-winning film. I recommend every DC fanatic or superhero fan or just..... actually i recommend everyone watch this movie. i am a huuuge Heath Ledger fan; i think his role in the Dark Knight is uncontested in this universe and the next but trust me when i say that Phoenix killed this part. He absolutely murdered it.
