Virtually no connection with the 1st two movies apart from buying a suit at the Kingsman tailors. More of a brief history of conflict in Europe in the early 20th Century including a few minutes on the Russian revolution. I had hoped the arch criminal would be Begbie out of Trainspotting as he had his accent but no such luck. That would have been a better ending rather than clumsily fitting a poor storyline around real events. I think I could have written a better script.

A pretty thin plot which required James Nesbitt to pull numerous grimacing faces to camera to pad it out and make it seem more dramatic. Support actors kept it alive but ending made the 4 episodes seem a waste of time
