Wish it was more like the novel. I hate the love story between Mina Harker and Dracula. In the novel, she is disgusted by Dracula. He violates her, and he only turns her to spite Van Helsing & the other men. In the novel, Mina is in love with her husband and horrified after Dracula violates her physically and spiritually. I also hate how sexualized the film is. The novel was not sexual at all. Lucy is portrayed as a sexually promiscuous woman, when in the novel she is a sweet young girl. Also in the novel, Mina aids the men hunting Dracula by compiling the diaries, news clippings, and evidence of vampires. She does not defend Dracula except for one line expressing that she pities him, because she is a kind and sweet young girl in the novel. For "Bram Stoker's" Dracula, it sure doesn't follow the book very well.
