Canadian TV has always had a tough time competing with the US entertainment culture with its glitz,glamour and big budgets. Land and Sea has none of that. It's a down-to-Earth East Coast show that highlights everyday folks in everyday settings, that might have a tad bit more talent or interest than common folk; in this way it shows extraordinary folks and activities that entertain,inform and yet, seem relatable.
