this movie wasn't very good in my opinion ._. i mean visually, it was stunning, but the actual story was super boring. i get that they were trying to be realistic and stuff, but they made it so "realistic" that it was really boring. just because their graphics were gorgeous, doesn't mean they can get away with having a super long and boring plot. pretty much nothing happens, and they also split it in two for some reason which just made me more confused; like why- anyways, background and stuff were amazing, plot and story which was literally why i watched the anime, literally why you watch any anime- was pretty bad ngl. anyways, i'd recommend not wasting your time boring yourself to death, but hey this is just my opinion. you can love this anime if you want, i just really wasn't a fan of it

im not normally one to write reviews, but i feel like i had to write something here. now, don't get me wrong, the movie wasn't thaaat bad, and the animation was nice i guess, but the movie itself was really confusing. or it might just be me, who knows, but i found the story sort of confusing, and kind of boring. the reason im giving it a 1 star is because, sure the animation is sort of nice, that's not the point of a movie. the point is the storyline, and the story overall, which in this case wasn't...my favourite... after reading a couple reviews, i get that a lot of stuff in the movie is supposed to be symbolic? it's nice to have a few things that are symbolic here and there, but not the entire movie. i don't think they thought about how confusing this might be for some people. not everyone can make sense of this kind of thing. also, the story was not clear at all. i might have liked this a lot more if they were a little more clear with what was going on? (spoiler starts) all i picked up was they were arguing over if fireworks were round or not, the main character's best friend likes the female protagonist, the female protagonist is trying to run away or something, and they have some kind of magical ball ._. (spoiler ends) also, i really want to know, where are the sad parts in this? some people are saying it's a sad anime or something. or maybe im just an idiot- anyways, don't really recommend, but if you wanna watch it, or if you like it, good for you. ^^ by the way, thanks if you read the whole thing, it means a lot if you took the time to read this whole thing since it's so long 😅
