Not History not Shakespeare all Mclelland. Shakespeare's language does not fit this version - all action, all violence. It is a parody of a very thoughtful play with many important female characters, mostly buried or distorted here. Half comedy; half horror still some noteworthy moments tanks bursting into HQs and disembodied swords interrupting moments of passion I recommend it to all who have never heard of Shakespeare but enjoy massive amounts of violence but no poets please

A very poignant and sensitive film with a beautiftul performance by Odessa Young in the main role. A subtext showing the endless destruction war has ion a community. Both political and artistic

Shakespeare has poor plots but great words. Ophelia butchers the plot and changes all the words, leaving the Bard spinning in his grave. Sets, costumes and settings deserved a better script and some half decent actors
