One of the best film noir I have ever seen. Right next to OUT OF THE PAST. I remember seeing TGFH at a young age and its dark themes and addictive violence makes the choreographed slaughter of todays films seem trivial empty and and pointless. Veronica Lake is the heroine and the beautiful Alan Ladd is the "male fatale."
