Overall not a bad movie. Some of the human drama I thought was a little overdone, and some of the humans seemed to be as indestructible as the monsters. Predictably, Godzilla seems to be down and out for the count for a brief period of time, just like in the first movie. But he invariably makes a comeback, with the help of the humans, of course. In any case, there seems to be little doubt that Godzilla is King of the monsters, and one tough son of a gun. If a nuclear bomb detonated right aside of him, and a 3-headed alien monster that is twice as big as him can't kill him, I can't imagine the lunacy that the producers are going to have to come up with to make King Kong even a remote challenge to Godzilla. Even in the realm of science fiction, if we're going to be real, Kong doesn't stand a chance.
