I didn't have a problem with the acting or the storyline, which was generally interesting and just about plausible. What I didn't like was the direction. I found a lot of E1 and 2 very very slow - overall much could have cut to bring this down to no more than 5 episodes. And the 'stream of consciousness' sequences in the last episodes were, for me, really unhelpful and a pretentious indulgence by the director. It's a perennial beef from me that flashbacks are often unclear (and usually a lazy device). Why make you audience work so hard on something that could have been presented much more obviously...
