This show is funnier than I remembered- like deep down in your belly then howl and cackle funny

I quite enjoyed this movie, it's weird after admiring someones work for so long but never seeing yourself represented through SC lens to now see it done so well. Like all of her movies, you get a snapshot and a depth without it becoming bland. There is something so European about her movies. This was beautiful. I've seen a lot of other reviews wonder about the director's experience but I wonder how much this may parallel Rashida's experiences with her own father. I quite enjoyed seeing and understated Marlon Wayans.

Actually thrilling, you can’t tell where the plot is going and the acting is stellar. Just a lil nervous about the ending since it’s M.Night but the journey is worth it!

Everything about this feels real to me. I’m a child of the often overlooked 70’s.Dolemite Is My Name is exactly what I always appreciated about Eddie Murphy movies. An unapologetic lens of black magic before hashtags and hype. Eddie shines, he has been sorely missed and the ensemble cast is a who’s who of black excellence at its always under appreciated best. Fully enjoyed this film!
