Grand Army is the BEST true-to-life teen TV series that I have ever seen. It is gritty, controversial, and 100% honest and REAL. Its cast is a cross-section representation of teenagers that incorporates all aspects of race, gender, and sexual orientation in actual New York City public schools. Its episodes feature real-life situations that are relatable - a roller coaster of highs and lows - that ALL of us can relate to.
Above all else, Grand Army is emotionally moving, and spiritually uplifting - the kind of TV series that makes you feel ALIVE and HUMAN. You will smile, you will laugh, and you will cry.
I binge watched all 10 episodes in 2 days, and if Netflix doesn't renew this series, it will be a loss to us all. I give my full-hearted support to the CONTINUATION of this beautiful, true-to-life, emotionally-moving production.
